Emma Larson - Ballet & Pointe Faculty
Emma began her ballet training at Saugerties Ballet Center; she continued her training New Paltz School of Ballet under the direction of Lisa and Peter Naumann.
At age 15, she was accepted to Boston Ballet School's Summer intensive where she was invited to enroll as a student in their year-round program. As a student at Boston Ballet School she studied classical ballet, modern and character dance. During her time at BBS, she worked as an assistant teacher, under the guidance of Luciano Aimar, the director or the school's Children's program. She was also on the ballet faculty of New York State Ballet Training Academy in Rochester, NY for both the student and pre-professional divisions.
Emma completed her academic studies at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase and SUNY Empire State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood and dance education. Emma has also had experience dancing professionally with the American Swiss Ballet, Ulster Dance Company and New York State Ballet.
